Statement from Stephen Lawson, Managing Director of UKSLS

“I and the Directors of UKSLS would like to thank all employees for their continuing professionalism and commitment. Your efforts have provided the evidence to the CQC that we are compliant in all areas and has proven that our care and support for our service users is of the highest quality.”

UKSLS have recently been inspected by the Care Quality Commission.

The inspection involved an examination of the organisations policies and procedures, processes, service user and staff files, visits to service user’s homes and feedback from service users, their families and the commissioners of services.

Their conclusion was; UKSLS is compliant in all areas, meeting the needs  of our service users and staff and delivering professional and customer focused care and support.

The CQC’s conclusion was particularly welcome considering the change process we are currently undertaking.

We look forward to the next inspection when that change process is complete.

A think tank has warned that the number of older people in England needing care will “outstrip” the number of family members able to provide it by 2017.
